The ‘Lego House’ hitmaker reportedly tied the knot with extended-term companion Cherry Seaborn in a low-important ceremony at his estate in Suffolk, East England, just ahead of Christmas devoid of any of his well-known pals in attendance.

A supply told The Sun newspaper: “Ed got married a handful of days ahead of Christmas. It was incredibly quiet – just Ed’s oldest college pals, restricted family members and the priest.

“There have been only 40 persons – so no Taylor Swift, record enterprise executives or any royals or popstar pals. He wanted no fuss and he wanted it to be a thing completely for them – just a tiny winter wedding.

“It is incredible that he’s the greatest popstar in the planet but he was just in a position to quietly slide off and wed.

“Neither of them have been that fussed about generating a large deal about it. Cherry just wanted to get it out of the way devoid of any issues or intrusions.”

The 28-year-old singer and his new wife, 26, are mentioned to be organizing a larger celebration in the summer season to celebrate their nuptials with pals who have been not told about the wedding.

The supply added: “Ed and Cherry are organizing festival-style celebration for a wider list to take place at the finish of the summer season.

“That will be all singing and dancing, and they will be in a position to invite Taylor and their record enterprise colleagues and royal pals.”

News of Ed’s wedding could come as a surprise to his pals Rudimental – who he collaborated with on ‘Bloodstream’ and ‘Lay It All On Me’ – as just a handful of weeks ago they laughed off speculation he had currently tied the knot and insisted the couple’s large day would not take location till later this year.

Band member Piers Aggett mentioned: “We did get an invite to the wedding an I am hunting forward to it.

“He had to invite us just after we mentioned we’ll crash it, we’ll have a drink with him and celebrate his incredible day.”

And his bandmate Kesi Dryden even recommended they could DJ for the couple.

He added: “There is no way that we are going to the wedding and we will not be DJing.

“He hasn’t asked, it really is just what takes place at some point.

“I am fairly certain it will be enjoyable. Ed’s got a lot of pals and he’s a good guy.”
