SABC3 is adding the British drama series McMafia, the American drama series Residence of Cards, a have to-see meals waste documentary series, and has a new beginning date for the 14th season of NCIS.
SABC3 is adding McMafia as a territory-very first series for South Africa from Thursday four April at 21:30.
The series is primarily based on Misha Glenny’s bestselling book McMafia: A Journey Via the Worldwide Criminal Underworld, and focuses on an organised crime household and Alex Godman (James Norton), the privileged British-raised son of an exiled Russian mafia boss.
Possessing resisted his family’s dark ties to organised crime, Alex is sooner or later drawn deeper into the crime globe in this gritty-glamorous drama spanning income launderers in Dubai, cyber criminals in India, Russian oligarchs in London and Bedouin smugglers in the Negev desert.

SABC3 is also adding the American drama series from Netflix, Residence of Cards, that just completed its six-season run on M-Net. The very first season’s 13-episodes will begin on SABC3 on Monday 1 April at 21:30 with two episodes per weeks that will be shown on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Developed by Media Rights Capital, Residence of Cards follows the greed, corruption, political plotting and ambition of Francis Underwood (Kevin Spacey) as a politician in Washington D.C. and his equally ambitious and ruthless wife Claire (Robin Wright).

SABC3 is providing a new beginning date for the new season of the American drama series NCIS that was moved from SABC2 to SABC3 but that did not begin simply because of payment challenges and tape delivery delay.
The 14th season of the forensic drama procedural NCIS will now begin on Wdnesday three April at 21:30 following the investigations and instances of NCIS specific agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and his group.
