Today on Sensei’s Music Blog, we get to help showcase the latest release from kwassa entitled ‘Sad Songs’ which is a fresh slice of glimmering pop, offset by a backdrop of laid-back wonky beats. Kwassa’s real name is Scott Verrill and he is a purveyor of catchy youthful melodies and zeitgeist lyricism, and with 17 million Spotify streams to date, this British singer remains firmly in the limelight with this brand new track.
On the track, he said, “I liked the idea of a making a really upbeat track called Sad Songs because it reflects the confusion of growing up, and the idea that you would listen to a ’sad’ song to make you feel some kind of way, when actually it often makes you feel the opposite.”
