Coronation Street star Sam Robertson, who plays Adam Barlow, has revealed that he came close to quitting the soap due to the fact he struggled with the exposure and recognition.
The 33 year old says that an extended break from the show at the commence of the year gave him the chance to perform out whether or not a future on the cobbles was what he actually wanted.

The actor has credited co-star and superior buddy Mikey North, who plays Gary Windass, with assisting him to deal with the focus that getting in Coronation Street inevitably brings.
“Mikey bargains with it actually properly,” says Robertson. “He’s so cool with everybody.
“I’m far more temperamental. If I’m in a superior mood, I’ve got all the time in the planet, but if I’m in a undesirable mood, then I do not want to speak to anybody.
“What I’ve realised more than time, and by hanging out with other actors, is that it is aspect of the job. If you are going to go out to particular locations – not so considerably in London but in Manchester and exactly where my family members are from in Scotland – I’m just going to have to accept it.
