“What do you say to these Trump voters who prioritize the economy more than the president’s bigotry?” Lemon asked candidate Sen. Amy Klobuchar at a single point through CNN’s Democratic debate.
“There are individuals that voted for Donald Trump ahead of that are not racist, they just wanted a improved shake in the economy. And so I would appeal to them,” Klobuchar responded.

On Wednesday morning, Trump took to Twitter to criticize Lemon’s query, calling him “the dumbest man on tv.”
“Don Lemon…insinuated final evening though asking a debate ‘question’ that I was a racist, when in reality I am ‘the least racist particular person in the globe,’” Trump tweeted. “Perhaps somebody need to clarify to Don that he is supposed to be neutral, unbiased & fair.”
“….or is he as well dumb (stupid) to fully grasp that,” he continued. “No wonder CNN’s ratings (MSNBC’s also) have gone down the tubes – and will keep there till they bring credibility back to the newsroom. Do not hold your breath!”

Lemon has but to respond to Trump’s comments.
A quantity of individuals have named Trump racist, such as Nas.
The rapper took aim at him in an open letter he wrote awhile back titled “Action Speaks Louder Than Words.”
“We all know a racist is in workplace. Persons can speak their shit. Comedians can sound racist. Persons can go by means of their moments of that shit, but when you have the duty of getting President and you carry on like that, you send a sturdy message to individuals outdoors of your group that they ain’t worth shit,” he mentioned.
