Pretty lately, Rana Daggubati announced about co-making a biopic on Muttiah Muralitharan, the former Sri Lankan cricket player. The Baahubali actor enjoys storytelling and shared what created him bankroll the biopic.

He stated:

This was a story that came to me from Dar films and writer/director Sripathy Rangasamy. I felt that the biopic was a story that had a lot of conflicts, intriguing episodes and 1 can draw enormous inspiration from. Also, the gripping tales behind the life of an international sporting legend tends to make for a terrific emotional connect. I strongly think it is a story to be dramatised.

Rana also added that this is a international story for all the cricket and sports fans, and will be pretty inspiring.

He stated:

Muralitharan’s story functions for me as an entertaining film with a terrific sports backdrop. An actor like Vijay Sethupathi (reprising Muralitharan) would just add greatness with his efficiency.

The producer also revealed that he is far more of a film buff than a cricket buff. But he is undoubtedly hunting forward to meeting Muralitharan.

Not too long ago, there have been reports about the actor acquiring a kidney transplant in the USA.

When asked about it, he stated:

I assume there was sufficient speculated about it, and I am tired of clarifying also that I am definitely fine and wholesome. So I assume rumours on my well being are now a boring subject. Anytime I leave Hyderabad, people today get apprehensive, but I am thankful for the adore and the concern people today have been showering on me.
