Cole calls time on profession as former Chelsea, Arsenal star eyes coaching function

Former England defender Ashley Cole is preparing a move into coaching right after calling time on his illustrious playing profession.

Cole won 13 key titles throughout his 20-year profession, which includes the 2012 Champions League with Chelsea, 3 Premier League titles and seven FA Cup triumphs.

The 38-year-old, who also won 107 caps for England, announced his retirement on Sky Sports ahead of acting as a pundit for the afternoon’s Premier League games.

“After challenging considering and consideration, it was certainly time to hang my boots up and appear towards my subsequent chapter, which will hopefully be coaching. I’m performing a course at the moment,” Cole stated. “Now I want to be good at getting a coach.”
