Nation music fans are mourning the loss of Kylie Rae Harris, who passed away on Wednesday. She was 30.
The star died in a fatal vehicle accident in New Mexico even though on her way to Taos for the Significant Barn Dance Music Festival, according to EOnline.com.
Harris was 1 of two fatalities in the State Route 522 crash. A 16-year-old girl also died.
Kylie Rae’s publicist told Billboard in a statement, “We are heartbroken to confirm that Kylie Rae Harris passed away in a vehicle accident final evening. We have no additional facts to share, and ask for privacy for her family members at this time. Every person that knew Kylie knew how a lot she loved her family members and, beyond that, how a lot she loved music.”
The statement continued, “The greatest tribute to her unmatched enthusiasm for each is to spread as a lot appreciate as you can these days, and listen to music that completely inspires you.”
In a final tweet, Harris wrote, “Fuel variety is 46 miles and I am 36 from the nearest gas station Dear child Jesus please never let me get stranded in NM.”

In a haunting series of Instagram Stories, she cried and grieved for her dad, telling fans that her father and grandparents had lived in Taos, but had given that passed away.
She recalled driving the similar roads with her dad and sister as a kid, and the time some cows appeared on the road. Her dad hit 1, but told the girls it was just a cow guard.
As she was driving on Wednesday, Kylie had an encounter that reminded her of her dad.
“I began receiving definitely sad and then all of a sudden these random cows showed up in the middle of the road… these cows appeared out of nowhere.”
She ended the story, saying, “We grieve in various approaches.”
