This year’s Love Island saw plenty of tears, drama and heads being turned in dramatic scenes over eight weeks.
With many twists and turns, it was hard to predict who would end up together and the show’s voiceover, Iain Stirling, 31, even joked that producers feared there would be no couples for the final.
However, some of the islanders managed to settle down into a couple, with many of them continuing their romance outside the villa.
But which couples are still together and which ones have gone their separate ways?
Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea – SPLIT
Love Island winners Amber, 22, and Greg, 24, have split up with the rugby star reportedly dumping her by text.
Amber is said to be “devestated” by the split and the manor in which it was done.
A source revealed to The Sun: “Greg has broken up with Amber and is blaming their busy schedules and not they want to focus on their careers.”
The Geordie starlet had been looking forward to reuniting with Greg in Dublin today before he decided to call it quits by text.
Despite not ever officially being boyfriend and girlfriend, Amber had already let the L-bomb slip during an Instagram live video.
Now Amber is single she is looking forward to focusing on her career. A source told The Sun that: “Amber has huge deals in place that she’s looking forward to announcing what she’s been busy working on.”
Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury – still together
The only official couple to survive the Love Island vila this year, Tommy and Molly , both 20, are still going strong and have their eyes clearly set on future plans.
Speaking exclusively to OK! magazine , the couple said they are “so strong” and discussed plans to move in together in the near future.
When asked if they plan on living together, Molly said: “Tommy is going to stay with me a lot, then we’ll see what happens. We speak about it and he’s already got a toothbrush at mine.”
Tommy added: “We need to be attached at the hip; being apart is not for me.
“I live at home in Manchester but I’m thinking about getting a place in London, and then we’ll just take it day by day.”
And, in terms of future planning, it seems nothing is off the table with the pair, who have even spoken about marriage and kids.
When asked if they want to get married, Molly said: “To each other, yeah!”
And Tommy confirmed his girlfriend’s response by adding: “100 per cent.”
He added: “I’m a Christian and a big believer in God; I thank God every day. It would be a big church wedding.”
To which Molly responded: “My job is fashion so I’d want a big wedding! It’s a big deal.”
Could it be time to buy a hat?
India Reynolds and Ovie Soko – still together
India and Ovie , both 28, didn’t have the easiest ride in the villa, with viewers accusing India of only being with Ovie for the chance to win the £50K cash prize and India being unintentionally caught in a love triangle between Jordan Hames, 24, and Anna Vakili, 29.
But, since affirming their affection for one another in a romantic final date and continuing their romance outside the villa, the pair seem to be going strong.
The basketball star and model have both shared love up snaps together on Instagram, the couple’s romance appears to continue to heat up. The couple are yet to confirm if they are officially BF and GF, and when it comes to love, Ovie has said it’s early days for that.
Speaking to Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, both 59, on This Morning, Ovie explained: “I cannot say love, I think love is a thing that takes time to develop.
“We’re in a good place, but we’re putting one foot in front of the other. We spent quite a lot of time together, she’s back in Reading now, but we’ve been enjoying it.”
Curtis Pritchard and Maura Higgins – still together
Irish beauty Maura , 28, couldn’t hide her attraction to dancer Curtis , 23, once Amy Hart, 27, left the villa.
But, we haven’t seen much of the pair were seen in Ireland together for the Love Island Reunion show.
The couple have spent some time apart to work on their career as Maura appeared on This Morning as an agony aunt and Curtis is busy filming for The Greatest Dancer.
But, earlier in August, Maura showed fans things are still hot between the pair as she posted a snap of the two kissing on her Instagram and said: “Not long till I’m back in your arms.”
To which Curtis replied: “Can’t wait,” with a heart emoji in the comments.
But, there could be trouble in paradise as Molly-Mae has hinted that the couple are struggling to see each other. Molly said: “Tommy and I went on a double date with Maura and Curtis which was really sweet. I think everyone’s just so busy at the moment like couples even struggling to see each other.”
She added: “I know Maura and Curtis have been apart for a while. Me and Tommy were apart for a while, so you know, if I’m not even seeing my boyfriend, it’s unrealistic that you can try and like meet up with everyone.”
Anton Danyluk and Belle Hassan – SPLIT
Scotsman Anton , 24, and Londoner Belle , 24, had their ups and downs since Belle entered the villa as a Casa Amor girl.
The couple were embroiled in a huge row after Anton gave his number to a cashier and planted a kiss on Anna instead of Belle during a challenge.
However, the pair made amends and continued their romance after the fall out and were even treated to a luxurious helicopter ride for their final date on the series.
After leaving the villa, Anton and Belle continued to keep seeing one another, even going on holiday together.
However, on September 5, Belle’s representatives confirmed the pair’s split to OK! online, after Belle posted a cryptic post on Instagram while Anton partied in Ibiza alongside Craig David.
The 21 year old shared a quote to Instagram which read: “Know your worth. Know the difference between what you’re getting and what you deserve.”
Chris Taylor and Harley Brash – SPLIT
Chris , 28, and Harley, 20, were seen as an unlikely couple by viewers of the ITV2 show when sparks appeared to fly between the pair.
After leaving the villa, the pair headed out on a number of dates including a romantic dinner and a fun-packed trip to Alton Towers in Stoke-on-Trent.
However, after trying to keep the fire alive outside of Love Island, things have cooled off between the pair as Chris has confirmed they have split two weeks after leaving the villa.
Sharing a picture of the two on his Instagram, Chris explained alongside the photo: “A serious post for once guys. I’m sad to say that both Harley and I have parted ways and came to this decision last night, despite rumours from the media last week.
“Both of us have been very busy with separate opportunities and haven’t had enough quality time for each other.
“We both have the upmost support and respect for one another and the decision was made amicably.
“I wish her all the best and will always be glad we rode the Love Island adventure together. I will be very proud of everything she has done and everything she’ll do.” He finished with a sweet message to Harley which said: “The future is bright crumpet go get em! Chris xx.”
Danny Williams and Jourdan Riane – still together
Casa Amor girl Jourdan , 24, and model Danny , 21, were dumped within the early stages of Love Island and their romance.
Despite viewers not seeing their romance develop on the show, the couple have gone from strength to strength in the past two months and are even officially boyfriend and girlfriend.
The couple have even started plans for Danny to move into Jourdan’s pad and the two have already jetted off on holiday together.
And the future planning doesn’t stop there, as Danny recently shared a photo of the couple and revealed “planning holidays is my new favourite past time, [sic]” hinting the couple have got many more trips booked in.
The couple have even spoken about marriage as Jourdan confessed she “can see this lasting”. Speaking in a Channel 5 online interview, they were asked if they could see themselves tying the knot to which Jourdan turned to ask Danny, “Are you going to marry me?” Jourdan asked Danny, as she leaned in close to her beau.”
He replied: “Are you going to marry me? Are you going to propose?”
