Los Angeles-based band OYSTER KIDS, consisting of multi-instrumentalist Andrew Eapen (vocals, guitar), Jonathan Bradley (drums), Robbie Gullage (bass), and Roy Tanaka (keyboards), are back with a gorgeous new single titled Give In, a song about accepting ourselves and letting others in.
Once again the guys deliver a highly infectious indie-pop production with smooth vocals flowing beautifully over swirling layered synth lines. I am loving how the driving percussion fits perfectly with the synths and that chorus is absolutely dreamy and hypnotic. If you’re into cool pieces of pop music with killer synths and a dreamy/cinematic atmosphere, then you’ll love this song.
To accompany the release, the band has shared its official music video directed by Kamell Allaway which you can check out below!
Speaking about the song, Andrew Eapen said,
“Give In” is a song about accepting yourself, and letting others in. I wanted to write something that encompassed my struggle of being vulnerable with my emotions, and how freeing it feels to finally open up to others.
