The Atlanta police seem to dispute Tameka “Tiny” Harris’ story that somebody broke into her Lamborghini SUV and stole a reported $750,000 worth of diamonds and pricey watches.
Tameka, 44, claims a thief broke into her Lambo truck even though she had drinks with a pal at Bar Amalfi in Atlanta’s Midtown neighborhood more than the weekend.
Tiny parked her Lamborghini SUV in the restaurant’s lot about eight:45PM and returned to the car or truck at 9:45 pm, only to uncover a thief broke into the pricey automobile and stole her jewelry.
The jewelry was stored inside a blue velour bag which she accidentally left on leading of the center console.
Amongst the jewels had been diamond wedding rings, high-priced watches and diamond stud earrings, according to WSB-Television.
Tameka is reportedly “devastated” more than the loss of her jewels – most of which are irreplaceable gifts from her husband, rap mogul Tip “T.I.” Harris, 39.
Not extended soon after Channel two Action News broke the story on Monday, rumors spread that the jewelry heist was element of an insurance coverage scam.
According to reports, Tiny’s pal went out to the car or truck to retrieve anything. And police say there had been no indicators of a break-in or harm to Tiny’s SUV.
Through WSB-Television — Police told Channel two Action News there had been no indicators of a break-in or harm to the $200,000 SUV, but Harris told police she believed somebody took the bag from her Lamborghini.
On Monday, Channel 2’s Audrey Washington spoke with two sources, a single an APD supply who was at the restaurant Sunday evening.
Each sources told Washington there was safety in the parking lot and that they did not witness something suspicious.
