The 23-year-old has scored seven occasions in all competitions this term, which includes the Austrian side’s very first objective in their four-three Champions League defeat at Liverpool earlier this month.

And the Mail On-line report that the Gunners are tracking the South Korea international following his prolific performances.

It is claimed the North London side have had scouts watching the forward, who has revitalised his profession immediately after failing to impress on loan at Hamburg final term.

With his contract with Salzburg expiring in the summer time of 2021, it is anticipated that he could move on in order to attempt and progress his profession.

Even so, it is believed Arsenal are not alone in holding an interest in the goalscorer, with Crystal Palace and a quantity of clubs across Europe also reportedly monitoring Hwang’s progress.
