Fired Teen Mom two star Jenelle Evans’ small business was dropped by the manufacturer and hit with poor solution evaluations for her Universal Brow Kit, but the scandals do not finish there. RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal JE Cosmetics is not registered as a small business entity.
A spokesperson for the North Carolina Secretary of State’s Workplace confirmed to Radar that JE Cosmetics “is not registered with the state of North Carolina.”
“There was an try to register the business as an LLC in November 2017, but the registration was never ever completed,” the clerk explained. “A letter was sent, but there was no response considering that then.”
According to the North Carolina Secretary of State’s Workplace, small business corporations, nonprofit corporations, restricted liability providers and other individuals are necessary to register with the North Carolina Secretary of State’s Workplace prior to conducting small business in the state.
Radar also checked California, New York and Delaware, but was unable to come across a registered small business entity for the makeup business.
While Jenelle, 27, apparently did not take the suitable methods to register the small business, she did file to trademark “JE Cosmetics” in November 2017.
The trademark was abandoned in October 2018. She filed a Notice to Revive Application for the trademark in April 2019, just weeks prior to her husband David Eason shot and killed the household dog. The status of the trademark is at present “live.”
A rep for Jenelle did not respond to Radar’s request for comment with regards to the failed registration try.
As Radar readers know, Jenelle launched her Universal Brow Kit, which sells for $40, final month. She celebrated the launch with an occasion at New York Style Week on Monday, September 9.
But the solution was met with poor evaluations, low sales and other scandals. Scroll by means of RadarOnline.com’s gallery for much more on the poor small business.
