The third season of Stranger Factors is the most-watched installment of the runaway hit horror series to date, with 64 million households tuning in to watch the sci-fi drama in the initial 4 weeks of its premiere on Netflix this previous July.
The figures officially make Stranger Factors the most-watched original show in the streaming giant’s history.
Netflix revealed the numbers in a quarterly letter to its shareholders, which also incorporated higher viewership for the new sleeper hit restricted series Unbelievable.
This exceeds the debut season of The Umbrella Academy, which posted more than 45 million viewers in its initial month this previous February.
Netflix and the series creators officially confirmed final month that the series would return for a fourth season.
News of these figures comes at a time when speculation about the show’s fourth season is operating rampant. Most of it revolves about Hopper (David Harbour) and what precisely is going on with him.
If you watched the show’s third season, then you know what we’re referring to. Harbour has only fanned these query-flames the final handful of weeks, each through Late Evening With Seth Meyers (exactly where he face-timed the show’s creators, the Duffer brothers) and even though hosting Saturday Evening Reside this previous week.
In the latter look, Harbour was extremely close to casually letting a secret fly through his Stranger Factors-inspired monologue segment.
