MADRID (Reuters) – The Spanish Interior Ministry mentioned on Friday it had offered the go ahead for civil guard police reinforcements to be sent to the outskirts of Barcelona following 5 days of at times violent protests more than the jailing of pro-separatist leaders.

No additional facts had been straight away readily available.

Interior Minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska told reporters on Thursday he planned to send safety reinforcements to Barcelona to support keep order in the city and also to let police currently there get some rest.
