Police are looking for a Louisiana lady who ran more than her ex-boyfriend’s new lady buddy with her vehicle. Opelousas police have place out an APB on Lakeshia Rideau, of Opelousas, immediately after she ran more than the victim early Saturday outdoors the Crestview Apartments.
According to KLFY News, Rideau spotted her ex-boyfriend returning property immediately after a evening out with his new girlfriend. Rideau reportedly floored the gas and struck the victim, just before fleeing the scene in a late model brown and tan Nissan Maxima.
Police Chief Martin McClendon stated the hit and run occurred about 1 a.m. Saturday. The male companion transported the victim to the hospital in his automobile.
McClendon stated the victim suffered broken bones in her legs and other internal injuries. She is anticipated to recover but she may possibly will need physical therapy.
Rideau is wanted on charges of attempted second-degree murder.
