Rogers County Sheriff’s Workplace

An Oklahoma man and his wife had been arrested following he fatally shot his daughter’s boyfriend and his cousin simply because they had been Black.

Manuel Quezada, 47, and his wife Angelica Quezada had been arrested on Tuesday evening following the shooting outdoors their house in Owasso, Oklahoma.

Police think Mr. Quezada fatally shot Albert Thomas, 20, and Albert’s cousin Dejon Ross, 21, simply because his daughter was dating Albert, pictured under left. A single victim was shot inside a vehicle whilst the other man was shot dead in the driveway.

Quezada had a gun visible in his back pocket when sheriff’s deputies arrived on the scene. His wife was arrested for becoming an accessory to murder, according to Newson6.com.

The victims had been going to see a film when they had been killed. Family members members inform News On six that Albert never ever met Manuel Quezada. “Albert had never ever even met the man. [Manuel Quezada] would generally inform her that he did not want her becoming about black folks,” stated Aleta Thomas, aunt of Albert Thomas. “He never ever met the dad till final evening, and this man killed him in cold blood.”

According to public records obtained by the DailyMail.com, the Quezadas have a 27-year-old daughter and two sons, ages 28 and 32. Thomas and his girlfriend had dated for two years, according to his household.

Thomas’s mother designed a GoFundMe web page on Wednesday to raise funds for his funeral. Mates and household of the two males paid tribute to them on social media on Wednesday.
